Campus Living Centres was founded in 1989 with the purpose of assisting Colleges and Universities with the planning, design, financing and management of student housing and conference facilities. Our portfolio today is comprised of over 10,000 student beds in buildings we either own or manage on behalf of Colleges and Universities, with several other projects in the planning phase. We are the largest owner and operator of student housing in Canada.
The company was acquired in 2007 by Hal Gould, Richard Ivey and Ray Stanton. The new ownership added a significant portfolio of owned student housing to the Campus Living Centres portfolio, and in addition encouraged a renewed focus on “achieving financial performance in Canadian Student Housing”. We understand that student communities need to be financially self sustaining, and at the same time provide an enriching and rewarding residence experience. We offer a management solution that ensures both are attainable.
We continue to work with our post secondary partners as well as private developers who seek to provide a positive residence experience and at the same time deliver the desired financial results.
